Metcash WGEA Pay Gap Statement 2024-2025

March 2026

Metcash is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace, where people are rewarded fairly and have equal opportunity to thrive, regardless of gender.

In line with our obligations under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012, we submit our workforce remuneration and composition data annually to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA). WGEA uses this information to calculate employer gender pay gaps, which are published on the WGEA Data Explorer alongside national and industry benchmarks.

We are encouraged by our results, with Metcash achieving a -2.7% median gender pay gap. This reflects our continued focus on fair and equitable pay outcomes and a strong representation of women across many parts of our workforce.

Closing the gender pay gap requires sustained effort. Our results reflect Metcash’s ongoing commitment to fair and equitable pay, supported by inclusive workforce practices, gender balanced talent processes and leadership accountability.

We recognise that transparency plays an important role in driving accountability and progress. We remain committed to continuously reviewing our data, understanding the drivers of our gender pay gap, and taking action to ensure Metcash continues to be a fair, inclusive and high performing organisation.
