Romeo’s Retail Group joins LocalEyes Retail Media Network

 

Sydney, Australia, 8 December 2025 – Metcash, Australia’s largest wholesaler and service provider to independent businesses, is excited to announce that Romeo’s Retail Group has joined the LocalEyes Retail Media Network, marking a significant milestone in the network’s growth.

As part of this partnership, 11 Romeo’s IGA stores across New South Wales now feature in-store digital screens, enabling brands to connect with local shoppers, with the right products, at the right time.  These 11 locations offer some of the highest footfall locations within the IGA network.

Romeo’s Retail Group joins over 500 independent retailers across food, liquor and hardware, signed on to the LocalEyes network, further expanding the reach and impact of the retail media platform.

The rollout of the LocalEyes Retail Media Network continues on track, with more than 500 screens already installed and operating across the network, and a total of 750 screens scheduled to be in place by the end of FY26.
